Are you experienced in photovoltaic projects and ready for a new challenge? At Urbasolar – part of the Axpo Group – you’ll help shape the energy transition by leading technical studies and contributing to efficient solar plant design and execution.

Who we are:

Urbasolar is a key French photovoltaic player and pioneer since 2006. We are fully integrated to the AXPO Group, a Swiss based utility with a leading position in energy markets across 30 countries in Europe, Americas, Asia and Africa. Through our solar division, we operate in the development, investment, construction and operation of photovoltaic plants and the supply of green electricity and advanced energy solutions for our customers in Europe (Italy, Spain, Germany and Poland).

What you will do:

• Conduct technical studies for PV installations from preliminary to detailed design stages

• Design and dimension electrical equipment and create technical drawings with support from designers

• Coordinate on-site activities with external service providers in collaboration with project managers

• Provide engineering support during the construction phase and ensure project quality

• Prepare technical documentation, project timelines, and regular reporting

• Contribute to the development of internal methods, tools, and technical guides for PV design

What you bring & who you are:

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering

• Proven experience in photovoltaics or the construction industry

• Well-organised, autonomous, and creative approach to managing multiple projects

• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset

• Comfortable working cross-functionally and taking responsibility

• Familiarity with tools and software used in PV project planning

• Fluency in English and German; French is a plus

• Willingness to travel frequently; driving licence required
