Photovoltaic Studies Engineer (f/m/d)

Given the rapid growth of our business unit in Germany, we are hiring a Photovoltaic Studies Engineer. In this role, you will be a part of the technical team and will participate in two main states of PV plants projects. In the first instance - carry out preliminary engineering assessment for permit submission, and in a more advanced stage - carry out detailed engineering for the executive design of the PV plants.
What you will do:
- Conduct initial technical studies for PV plants, including layout design, equipment selection, cost estimation, and yield analysis.
- Prepare technical documentation for grid connections and administrative approvals.
- Perform due diligence for M&A and technical evaluations for internal projects.
- Execute comprehensive technical studies and designs for photovoltaic installations, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Select and coordinate with consultants and advisors, integrating their input into project designs.
- Facilitate collaboration across departments (development, construction, purchasing) in project execution.
- Improve technical department processes and contribute to photovoltaic design guidelines and standards.
What you bring & who you are:
- Master’s degree with a technical background or engineering degree in Energy or Electricity
- +2 years’ experience within PV (or wind) developer or engineering company
- Experience in electrical circuits would be appreciated
- Ability to deal with a variety of technical subjects related to solar technologies
- Good team player and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Results-oriented and motivation to participate in the conquest of new market positions
- Ability to work in a structured corporate environment and to comply with internal processes
- Fluency in German & English

You will report to the Technical Manager northern Europe and work in close cooperation with the project teams based in Berlin, Leipzing and Munich and the other technical referents in France.
